Wait, I'm confused. Just so I have an understanding of the situation, how is my retreat into the Baltic an illegal move? It's adjacent and uncontested.
ReplyDeleteDo you mean your retreat from the Baltic Sea (into the Gulf of Bothnia)?
ReplyDeleteAccording to the rules (p18):
A unit can’t retreat to:
• a province that is occupied;
• the province from which the attacker came; or
• a province that was left vacant by a standoff during the same turn.
The Gulf of Bothnia fits into the third category, with the standoff between F St Petersburg (SC)-Gulf of Bothnia (UK) and F Baltic Sea-Gulf of Bothnia (Rus) on this turn leaving the Gulf of Bothnia unoccupied.
Oh, yes, I meant from the Baltic, sorry. Okay, that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying.
